The Experience That Makes A Difference

It has been my mission to fight the courtroom battle against methamphetamine. As an Assistant District Attorney, I have prosecuted thousands of drug cases. As a defense attorney, I represented those caught in addiction. I listened to their stories and gave them advice. As a prosecutor, I took the dealers off our streets. There is no greater threat to our children, our families and our community than that posed by meth. I understand the problem. My experience with thousands of these cases, from walking the scene of the crime with law enforcement to winning convictions from juries, is what is needed on the bench. To continue our fight, vote Jeremy Taylor Circuit Judge on June 1.

As judge, I commit to processing cases as quickly as is responsibly possible so that people can move on with their lives. I will work every day to earn my job. I will be present and available at the courthouse. Above all, every person in my courtroom will have a fair shake. I will not respect politics, wealth or class. You will enter and leave my court on an equal footing. YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH RESPECT!

My family, from my parents, City Councilman and former Alabama State Trooper Gerald "Red" Taylor and Marilyn Taylor, a retired Registered Nurse, my grandparents and my brother Derek, an Alabama State Trooper, my sister Andrea, an administrator with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, my wife Amanda, a 2nd Grade teacher at Wills Valley Elementary School, and myself, a former Assistant District Attorney, has been committed to public service for generations. I will continue that tradition. I will serve the justice system in order to help those going through it, not as a means to help me or other attorneys. I will be YOUR circuit judge.

To elect Jeremy, you must vote in the Democratic primary on June 1, 2010.
